Evidence Review and Synthesis
I transform complex data from multiple research studies into clear, reliable summaries that support evidence-based decision-making.
High-quality systematic reviews and meta-analyses are a pillar of evidence-based healthcare.
I plan and carry out decision-grade, methodologically rigorous reviews that bring together all the clinical or economic evidence that payers, purchasers and reimbursement bodies need to evaluate an intervention. At each stage of the review process – from the initial framing of the research question and registration of a protocol through to the extraction and analysis of data – I apply the techniques that will generate the most comprehensive and transparent summary measures and analyses. With the emergence of broader forms of evidence synthesis my practice has expanded to include indirect comparisons, reviews of non-randomised studies and qualitative reviews.
Whether developed for publication in a peer-reviewed journal, to support a health technology assessment or as the basis of a value dossier, I deliver concise and accessible evidence syntheses that tell compelling value stories.
